Honoring the ancient healing traditions of my ancestors
My practice is one of integrated wellness incorporating visualization and intention to restore ones propensity of well-being. I use a holistic approach by weaving together indigenous wisdom and intuitive therapies, world healing philosophies with scientific techniques.
Therapies of sound, music, and voice in concert with prana (life force energy) open the spirit. The earth's medicinal healing plants, meditation, guided imaginary connect us with our ancestors. Acupressure, and ayurvedic marma points, pranic healing and body therapies help us bring it all together.
Sound healing therapy awakened my soul to another dimension of health that I had never experienced before. This began a major shift in my life work of healing.
The science of sound vibration through brain entrainment using tuning forks, singing bowls, music and individual voice including humming physically impacts the body on a cellular level that is astonishing. Many sound frequencies have been known to help symptoms of Cancer, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's and in many cases have radically transformed health.
From a very young age I became aware of my intuitive abilities. As an adult with maturity and some guidance from the ancestors and sage mentors, I developed my inherent skills and became sanctioned to provide care and healing to all those in need. Though we are all connected and ONE energetically, each of us has our own rhythm so I work intuitively to personalize each individual to their inner wisdom.
Being Mestiza (Native American mix heritage) and Asian Pacific Islander, I sought out the knowledge of Curanderas (medicine women), studying with Mayan medicine-woman, Ms. Beatrice Waight, shaman, midwife and sage in Belize. I learned the healing power of; invocation, the Rainforest plant medicine, ceremony, listening and trust. This experience was life changing and was the beginning of my life journey by claiming this gift of knowledge in developing my hands-on healing and heart-centered energy healing work with others.
I have always loved music, I sang gospel in College, play guitar, native flute, various drums and ukulele, as well as sing and chant. I discovered an incredible mysterious healing joy that fed my soul while making music; it actually was balancing my nervous system and elevating my emotions. So now I share this healing practice with those who want to experience the dynamic healing power of sound. I create ancient shamanic sounds with the Native Drum, Tibetan bowls, gongs and various indigenous instruments and combine the tuning forks to shift the energy fields, open the heart and soothe the soul.
Ultimately, I am inspired and blessed through great love of Creator/Source/Nature, without this, my work would be detached and void of authenticity. Because of this amazing unity there was a natural attraction to study both eastern and western plant medicine; starting with the creation of a medicinal healing garden and designing herbal remedies available to clients, family and friends.
